Today I had my Pre-Hearing with CSHCS in regards to the appeal for them denying us services due to financial ineligibility. This is why I have been fighting with the State to try to make this back to a need-based provider instead of an income based service. The Hearing went ok. We, meaning my lawyer and I, will be reviewing a similar case in the archives within the next four weeks (three being the time when the State must provide it out of their files remaining one week to get organized). I am starting to understand why so many people wait years for their trials.
I continue to have hopes for a positive outcome on behalf of Eva but the chances are far more better of winning a lottery jackpot.
Tomorrow Eva will be getting new ear tubes. Again. She had tubes put in last February. One fell out in less than 8 weeks and the other is just hanging out in the outer ear area, fused to the inside of her ear. Our ENT doctor will extract the current misplaced tube and then place new ones into her ears. I am anticipating these will last a little longer and everything will go as well as expected. We have to be at outpatient at 0830. I am hopeful she will not be to distressed without her drink/breakfast in the morning. That is ALWAYS the hardest part.
